Lesion Removal

We remove lesions of the eyelids and surrounding tissue using a scalpel-less technology at our Cheyenne clinic. Common lesions we remove are skin tags, papillomas, old styes and others.

• The Ellman radiofrequency unit at our Cheyenne clinic is a state of the art method to remove many common lesions around the eye. It uses radiofrequency waves to volatilize the water inside of tissue to remove lesions easily with out the need of a scalpel.

• Styes occur when the glands in the eyelids become infected. Following the infectious period many of the inflammatory markers remain trapped in the gland and form a hard bump. We may perform a steroid injection into the lesion to resolve them.
