Kirsten Klauss Reynolds, OD was born, raised and lived in a Midwest suburb of St. Louis until she and her husband decided to relocate to Laramie, Wyoming. As avid outdoorsmen, living in the mountains had always been a dream that was made possible earlier than planned when her husband’s mandatory seven-month National Guard deployment to the Middle East created the need to sell his dental practice of more than 25 years. They discovered Laramie and fell in love with the wonderful outdoor opportunities, the vibrant downtown, the great college, and above all– the friendly people. Dr. Klauss Reynolds attended St. Louis University maintaining a perfect grade point average and then attended the University of Alabama Birmingham School of Optometry graduating in the top 10 of her class with a BS in Physiological Optics and a Doctor of Optometry degree. She is currently licensed in Illinois and Wyoming and is DEA certified to prescribe oral and topical medication for the treatment of eye-related diseases. She has spent the last 6 years practicing medical optometry in a large multi-disciplinary ophthalmology practice where she provided post-operative care for cornea, cataract, refractive, and retina surgeries as well as treating and managing all varieties of eye diseases and infections while also providing routine eye care and contact lens fittings. Her husband, Dr. Brian Reynolds will be joining Dr. Killpack at Albany Family Dentistry in Laramie. Kirsten and Brian have two children. Their son studies accounting at Southeast Missouri State University, and their daughter will be attending the University of Wyoming. They are excited to become a part of the Laramie community and all that it has to offer. They are especially excited to try out cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
Dr. Reynolds will be seeing patients primarily at Laramie Vision Clinic but will be seen filling in at the Cheyenne Vision Clinic.
